Here's what the "hip hop community" is saying about Barak...

I was looking for the "hip hop community's" view on Barak Obama. Here's a post that sums it all up, and sums up the general ignorance that prevails in the "urban world" that's so "cool" nowdays...
black people ain't gonna vote for him simply cuz we some hating ass niggas.
he won't beat hilary.
his best chance will be to run as a vp under hilary.
you gonna hear alot of talk from black folk on some..."oh, he doesn't represent me, he's a sellout, a coon, he loves them white people, he ain't hood". some real dumb shit.
niggas ran out and voted for bill clinton cuz he blew a sax on arsenio.
the only way i see obama winning is if he shows up in a jay-z video or some shit.

How true, the real heart of "Black Issues" lies right there in that statement. It's all "what you going to do for us" and "how you going to entertain me". All it takes to understand where the problems really come from in the black community is spend a little time listening to how they talk to each other. Too many of you stupid white people TELL them what and where there problems come from. And that usually begins with "how hard they've had it" and "how great Dr. King was" and how you "really think the N word is just such a bad word."Funny how they have a lot of the same problems back in Africa, except there's no United States white people or slavery to blame it on. They still sell each other , kill and rob each other, and still are in some places too lazy to even go get thier own water. They laugh at us behind, and in many cases in front of us. The stereotypes that we're supposed to say are blatantly untrue are staples of black comedians. Funny how black comedy centers a lot around negative behaviors of blacks ,negative cultural norms and bad attitudes about certain subjects. Then it's all in "good fun" because that stuff is what being truly black is "all about". When they talk about issues like job laziness , which I have encountered on a regular basis, it's all "funny" to them. But a lot of black folks I worked with who didn't sleep on breaks and come back late or abuse their power as black workers were looked at as sellouts and uncle toms. The blacks acting like "real black people" as they call it, would ridicule the black folks that tired to put in an honest days workd as if they were alowing themselves to be forced back into slavery. They acted as if "being black" meant acting in the same negative way that's joked about in the black comedy clubs. Being "hood" , "street" all this low classed shit. Why is there such an obession with a self centered low classed outlook? Barak has a long way to go to be considered a "real black man". Think about that, and have a great day...
